PROGRAM 1: READING | RECITATION | TAJWEED

LEVEL ONE:
Reading For Beginners

Read the Quran slowly with recognition and the correct pronunciation

  • ​Based on reading the Noorani Qaidah correctly
  • ​Read Quran fluently in about 6 months and move on to level 2.

LEVEL TWO:
Reciting With Tajweed

Strengthen Tajweed and Makhaarij, and work on fluency

  • ​Teacher will work on weaknesses and address major and minor mistakes
  • ​Move on to level 3 in around 6 months

LEVEL THREE:
Earning An Ijaza

Perfect Makharij and Tajweed, and become certified to teach

  • ​For someone who is near perfect (or completed Level 2)
  • ​From Al-Fatiha to An-Naas
  • Our teachers have advanced Ijaza, allowing them to certify other students
  • ​Approximately 12 months to complete Ijaza in Tajweed
PROGRAM 2: HIFDH | MEMORIZATION
  • ​Must be proficient at reading and have a solid foundation of Tajweed and Makharij (at reading Level 2)
  • ​Full Hifdh will take at least 2 years
  • ​Goals By End Of The Hifdh Program: Certificate Ghabi Ijaza - Sanad - Chain of teachers names going back to Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Ismail Abdullah Al Qadi, Lead Instructor

Shaykh Ismail was born and raised in Jordan. He grew up with the Quran as his mom and two siblings are huffadh. He memorized the Quran at his local masjid in middle school. He learned Tajweed, Makharij, and recitation of the Quran with different maqamat under the guidance of several Shuyukh. Ismail has an ijazah and sanad in the ten different narrations of the Quran. He has a degree in Islamic studies majoring in Fiqh and Usool. He started teaching Quran in 2002 in Jordan and then moved to the United States in 2007 to lead Taraweeh and teach the Quran. He started an institution to teach Quran in Ohio and then moved to Chicago, Illinois and started working with the Islamic Center of Naperville as the Quran teacher and Imam of Taraweeh.

With the guidance of Allah, 40 plus students have memorized the Quran under him with the correct Makharij and ruling of Tajweed. He released the Nooraani Qaidah through an application called Easy Quran which became part of the Quran IQ application.

Are there any prerequisites for taking this program?
There are no prerequisites for joining this 1-to-1 online Tajweed & Hifdh program. Each student begins at the level appropriate for them.
What if someone doesn't know any Arabic?
Quran IQ is made for the student with “zero arabic” experience. Our level one program is designed to help you recognize, assemble, and construct the Arabic letters so that you can read the Quran with ease.
How long will it take to complete a "level"?
It will take approximately 6 months to complete level 1, and the same for level 2. Hence, levels 1 and 2 combined will take about 12 months total. Once you have successfully completed your level, you are able to progress onto the next level. Level 3 (Ijaza level) will take approximately 12 months to complete.
