Ismail was born and raised in Jordan. He grew up with the Quran as his mom and two siblings are huffadh. He memorized the Quran at his local masjid in middle school. He learned Tajweed, Makharij, and recitation of the Quran with different maqamat under the guidance of several Shuyukh. Ismail has an ijazah and sanad in the ten different narrations of the Quran. He has a degree in Islamic studies majoring in Fiqh and Usool. He started teaching Quran in 2002 in Jordan and then moved to the United States in 2007 to lead Taraweeh and teach the Quran. He started an institution to teach Quran in Ohio and then moved to Chicago, Illinois and started working with the Islamic Center of Naperville as the Quran teacher and Imam of Taraweeh.
With the guidance of Allah, 40 plus students memorized the Quran under him with the correct Makharij and ruling of Tajweed. He released the Noraani Qaidah through an application called Easy Quran which became part of Quran iQ application.
